L’Occitane Shea Butter Lip Balm

L’Occitane Shea Butter Lip Balm

A L’Occitane product which is often overlooked, but we love it! If the pure shea butter is too much for you then try this – it contains shea butter, but it feels much lighter on the lips. It glides on and lips feel instantly moisturised and protected. Despite gliding on it doesn’t glide off, it isn’t sticky and you can easily apply lipstick or gloss over the top. At £7.50 we think this is excellent value – it may seem a little pricey to some of you for a lip balm, but the results are brilliant – lip colour and texture improves no end and it’s worth chucking your 99p chapstick for! L’Occitane 100% Shea Butter

A hero product! Shea butter is a fabulous ingredient, but sometimes pure shea butter is all you need. Extremely soothing, repairing and moisturising it is ideal for excema, allergy sufferers and those with sore dry skin. We use it on sore skin; as a lip balm; as a nail and cuticle balm; on dry elbows, knees and ankles; as a manicure and pedicure treatment; in place of a hair serum… oh the list goes on! Basically, if you like natural products and treatments you’d be a fool to miss this. It lasts ages, a large tin is a good investment if you use it daily for many uses, but a smaller tin will be ideal for travel or if you just use it as a lip balm. L’Occitane’s Shea Butter is bought directly from a female co-operative, so you can be sure of a fairly traded, quality product. And the packaging is fab too! L’Occitane Almond Bust Gel

L’Occitane Almond Bust Gel

‘Tightening and firming’ is certainly an attractive phrase when considering your bust!! Sadly, this promising product (as most L’Occitane products are) was a disappointment. None of our testers found a tightening or firming result, even after 4-6 weeks of use. Skin tone was often improved, but that was about it and, to be honest, any body lotion could do that. The texture was very good though, a cream gel which felt soft and soothing – we wouldn’t dismiss this completely if you need improved skin tone and have sensitive skin, especially if you have found a body cream too rich on the bust area. Not an unpleasant fragrance, quite neutral in fact, so layering with other lotions and fragrances wasn’t a problem. Contains almond extract, almond milk and almond oil. The Almond Bust Gel has been discontinued since our review was written, but you can still buy other products from the L’Occitane Almond range from: L’Occitane Pin...

L’Occitane Eau des 4 Reines Eau de Toilette

Eau des 4 Reines is a true rose scent – not sweet and sickly like many rose fragrances, but as close as you can get to a bouquet of tea roses or the scent of a rose garden. If you love rose fragrances this is an absolute must for you – a classic scent which will suit all ages, as a true natural scent it’s not just a scent for Grandma! The packaging is lovely too – wonderfully boxed and looks great on any dressing table. Available from: L’Occitane QVC Pin...
