Joya Âmes Sœurs Roll-On Parfum

A sample of this beautiful fragrance was included in the Limited Edition box by Glossybox for Net-A-Porter. It is such a pretty sweet floral that warms to a lovely warm spicy-sweet scent – orange blossom and grapefruit linger throughout, supported by ginger and cedar wood. We love it! September’s Glossybox – London Edition

It’s lovely to return home from holiday to a pile of post that isn’t just bills… my September Glossybox was waiting for me 🙂 With London Fashion Week upon us this month’s theme is a special London Edition, encased in a bold Union Jack box and wrapped in red, white and blue… A little glossy magazine accompanies the box and feature interviews with Mark Hampton from Toni&Guy, stylist Angela Scanlon, designer Mara Hoffman and Nilam Patel from HD Brows.  It’s also filled with beauty tips, tricks and offers from HD Brows and Covetique.  A really lovely little mag that we don’t see every month from Glossybox. So what was inside?! It varies per subscriber, but I received: Toni&Guy Shine Gloss Serum Eylure Pre-Glued Lashes Elizabeth Arden Untold Eau de Parfum Dr Lipp Original Nipple Balm for Lips Be a… Bombshell Eye Liner I’m keen to try everything and will report back on all… a little unsure of the eyelashes, I never seem to do well with those, but perhaps Eylure will sort me out with their Pre-Glued lashes! And just as I finish up this post, by September/October Miss Glossybox arrives!  Miss Glossybox is aimed at younger beauty addicts with loads of high street brands inside, it is delivered every other month, rather than monthly like the main Glossybox subscription – find out more about all options at Glossybox. Have you got your London Edition Glossybox? Tell us which products you received and what you though of them 🙂 Pin...
June’s Glossybox

June’s Glossybox

Our June GlossyBox arrived at the weekend… we always get a bit excited when we open it up, but just look what we received this month! First of all a full size Monu Face Wash worth over £15 itself – we’re really looking forward to reviewing this one 🙂 Then a full size Me Me Me Cosmetics nail polish, which we tried out straightaway – we have a lovely shade called Innocent, this’ll be lovely for weddings. Then a full size Figs & Rouge shimmering lip balm and a full size Helen E eyeliner. To top it off the new Everlasting Blonde Shampoo and Conditioner from John Frieda! We’re really impressed with the value for money this week, and can’t wait to try all the products and bring you the reviews! Visit GlossyBox for details of their subscription treats! Pin...
September 2012 GlossyBox

September 2012 GlossyBox

Our first-ever GlossyBox arrived last week – yep, we gave in and subscribed! Lots of bloggers and commenters across the web are saying how disappointed they were with their box, but we thought it was ok – not too much too shout about at first glance, but actually some little gems in there… Opening a GlossyBox for the first time was quite a treat… they are wonderfully packaged and this month the box was a special design by Maggie Li which is very pretty and girly in aqua and pink. (Do they do a special box every month? Not sure.) We received: Lady Gaga Fame Black Fluid Eau de Parfum – a 1.2ml sample vial, shame it wasn’t a 5ml and in one of those mini versions of the full size, but we liked the scent. Read review… Rodial Glamoxy Snake Serum – two 1ml sachets (RRP: £29 for 10 sachets) Rodial 5 Minute Facial – two 1ml sachets (RRP: £10.95 for 10 sachets). Read review… Balance Me Wonder Eye Cream – 7.ml tube (RRP: £20 for 15ml) Vichy Idealia Smoothing and Illuminating Cream – 15ml trial size (RRP: £25 for 50ml). Read review… Maghrabian Hair Oil – 10ml trial size – possibly the hidden gem for us as so far this is working wonders, much better than Moroccanoil (RRP: £24 for 100ml) Overall we’re pleased with the value and the products received – perhaps this is because we’re willing to try pretty much anything, while others prefer less skincare and more colour cosmetics. We didn’t quite see how London Fashion Week fitted in to this collection, perhaps we’re not...
