balance Me Extra Care Wonder Eye Cream

As many of you know I’m forever on the search for fabulous eye creams, mainly because my dark circles continue to infuriate me! balance Me is a brand I found on my search for paraben-free and high-quality products with natural ingredients. The Wonder Eye Cream is one of the best eye care products I have found, with a focus on hydration and reducing dark circles. The ingredients are lovely and the results excellent – the hydration especially, despite being a light-feeling cream.  A brightening of the eye area and conditioned skin were noticeable within days, and my eye area really felt cared for. At £20 for 15ml the price is very competitive with similar brands and mine lasted approx 12-13 weeks using it twice a day most days. If hydration and slight dark circles are an issue for you, then this is definitely one to try 🙂 Available from: John Lewis LookFantastic Pin...

Arbonne RE9 Advanced Corrective Eye Creme

Well, what can we say? We love this eye cream! It’s a light lotion and it absorbs easily into the skin without the need to pat or drag or rub it in. At £44 for 15ml it seems a lot to spend, but you only need a tiny amount – we think you’ll find this lasts a lot longer than other brand’s 10ml or 15ml pots and tubes.  A recent bottle lasted 4 months using twice a day. Within a week we noticed results, especially on dark circles, and the area around the eye was smoother and brighter. Botanical ingredients, such as marine lavender, algae extract and alfalfa seed extract are obviously making a difference here compared to other brands. We love it and we think you’ll see a difference – give it a try! A winning product at the 2012 Natural Health Magazine Awards – fully deserved we say! Garnier Eye Roll-On with Caffeine

We were a little unsure when we first opened this – would a roll-on product really be gentle enough around the eye area? Well, don’t worry – it is! In fact it’s so soothing it’s rather addictive! Formulated to hydrate and refresh tired eyes, the roll-on certainly does that. After a couple of weeks of testing this out we have certainly found it to moisturise well (although if you’re looking for something to combat lines and wrinkles this may not be enough for you) and it definitely perks up tired eyes – we were using it through the day, not just in the morning – it works well, but if applying over make-up the rollerball does get a little grubby. Longer term effects are reasonable, after just over two weeks use we noticed a slight reduction in dark circles. This will last such a long time too – being a rollerball applicator there’s no product wasted. A handy product, though you may want to combine this with a different product for night-time, especially if your main concerns are lines and wrinkles rather than tiredness and dark circles. Molton Brown Eye Rescue Ultracool

Molton Brown Eye Rescue Ultracool

This is a very nice gentle product made from natural ingredients. Most of us found it moisturised the eye area well, though only one person said they found it made a noticeable difference to dark circles. On one person, who often has problems with eye treatments, the product did irritate and made her skin slightly blotchy and itchy. Best for those who have dry skin and not recommended for those who have sensitive skin around the eyes. November 2013 Update: This product has been discontinued, similar products from the Molton Brown range are Vita B3 Eye Concentrate and Bright Vita Eye-energy Serum. Pin...
