Laura Mercier’s product packaging always turns our head… so elegant and simple, it looks great in any bathroom.
The Flawless Skin Face Polish is a popular product in the range – our local counter apparently sells out often, so were we in for a treat?!
Hmmmm, mixed feelings I’m afraid – the grains are very scratchy which put some of us off the product altogether, especially those with sensitive skin. Others were fine with the grains as they “like a good scrubby feel” and said it certainly did ‘polish’ the skin.
It can leave the skin quite pink, so best used when you’re not heading out the door or to a party… use it at night and make sure you follow with a good toner and moisturiser to soothe and hydrate.
While this face scrub does take away dead skin and rough patches very well, we wouldn’t recommend it for sensitive skin. For others it’s worth asking for a sample as skin is left feeling smooth and clean.
At £26 for 100g we believe there are better scrubs and exfoliators at this price point (the Elemis Papaya Enzyme Peel for example).
