Stainiac has quickly become a firm favourite of mine… it’s hard to choose between Benefit’s Benetint and this lip and cheek stain from theBalm Cosmetics.
‘Beauty Queen’ is the shade I tried, though I think that’s the only shade available.
Colour-wise this give a really good natural pink tint to the lips and it lasts fairly well… I often wear it alone for a completely natural look, or top it off with Arbonne’s Lip Polish in ‘Posh’ or Smashbox’s High Shine Gloss in ‘Star’.
For cheeks it’s a little trickier – I never have quite got the hang of a cheek stain, Aunt Sally circles are often the result… but a little dab here and there (go steady!) does give a nice rosy blush.
Application is easy, it has a little sponge wand which makes application precise for lips and blendable for cheeks – I find the applicator easier to use than the Benetint.
All-in-all, a great product 🙂
