When we first saw the packaging for the Lollipops Eye Pencil, we weren’t overly convinced on it’s quality… we weren’t sure who the target audience was either, so we just had to jump in!
We had the black shade ‘Goodbye Moon’ – it applies evenly and is easy to blend (so easy to blend that we wondered if it would stay put!).
A retractable eyeliner, it’s very similar in style to the Avon Glimmersticks and Arbonne Eye Liners – as with all eyeliners like this, they say you don’t need to sharpen, but after the first few uses the end does round off a lot and it means you cannot get a very fine line. That’s fine though, it applies so smoothly and that the line is a good one.
What impressed us most was its staying-power – it last all day and did not budge! The colour held well for most of the day too.
We like this a lot, and from a brand we hadn’t properly heard of it has really impressed us.
Liquid liner lovers or those of you liking precision for your liners will want to skip this, but if you like any easily-blendable liner for smoky eyes, or are wanting to try a liner for the first time, the Lollipops Eye Pencil is definitely worth trying.
