SteamCream
SteamCream is a multi-purpose cream – a moisturiser for face, body and hands.
Now we’re often dubious about multi-purpose products – do they really do the job? With SteamCream it’s a big YES! We love it!
From the off, SteamCream soothes and softens skin – you’ll see an improvement instantly, skin feels smooth, soft and comforted. It absorbs quickly and easily with no stickiness and despite the indulgent ingredients (honey, lavender, cocoa butter, oats, almond oil…) the cream is light and easy to use.
After a few days using SteamCream on the body and hands, skin is replenished and looking so healthy – a little goes a long way, the quality ingredients doing their work means you won’t get through half the pot in one go!
On the face it’s the same results – younger, healthier looking skin with any redness reduced – some of us found it a little too rich for day, but as a night cream no-one faulted it.
Made in the UK, the ingredients for SteamCream are sourced locally wherever possible and the quality is noticeable in the cream. Not only that, the ingredients are natural and suitable for vegans.
The fragrance is very clean, perhaps more suited to the ladies but certainly not a no-no for the guys. Lavender, Neroli and Orange Blossom all combine beautifully.
Can it get any better?!
Yep! The cream comes in gorgeous little tins in different designs, so you can pick your mood! The tins also make it a great gift for your friends.
Available from Liberty (online and in-store).
Estee Lauder DayWear Plus Multi-Protection Anti-Oxidant Creme SPF15
We tried the DayWear Plus for Normal/Combination skin…
The texture is very light and silky, it glides on to the skin and absorbs well. Despite the lightness it feels very protective and comfortable on the skin and it provides much hydration without making oily skins even oilier.
Even from the first day of use skin looks smoother and over several days and weeks skin tone is much improved, looking smoother, firmer and younger.
With an SPF15 this is ideal for everyday, but you can also use it in the evening – it is ideal if your skin finds night creams too rich.
It lasts well, our 15ml trial size lasted almost 4 weeks using it every morning and most nights.
We were very impressed, it’s very likely to be a regular purchase for some of us.

Garnier Eye Roll-On with Caffeine
We were a little unsure when we first opened this – would a roll-on product really be gentle enough around the eye area? Well, don’t worry – it is! In fact it’s so soothing it’s rather addictive!
Formulated to hydrate and refresh tired eyes, the roll-on certainly does that. After a couple of weeks of testing this out we have certainly found it to moisturise well (although if you’re looking for something to combat lines and wrinkles this may not be enough for you) and it definitely perks up tired eyes – we were using it through the day, not just in the morning – it works well, but if applying over make-up the rollerball does get a little grubby.
Longer term effects are reasonable, after just over two weeks use we noticed a slight reduction in dark circles.
This will last such a long time too – being a rollerball applicator there’s no product wasted.
A handy product, though you may want to combine this with a different product for night-time, especially if your main concerns are lines and wrinkles rather than tiredness and dark circles.

Arbonne NutriMinC RE9 REstoring Mist Balancing Toner
Toners are one of those products that you might wonder why you bother with and it’s not really the type of product we usually get excited about!
This toner surprised us – it really does remove those last traces of cleanser, not to mention the make-up (or muck?!) that the cleanser didn’t get! It perhaps highlights the need for us to change cleansers!!
With witch hazel, known for it’s astringent properties, it is also soothing and refreshing. When we first smelled the witch hazel we worried it would be drying, but it isn’t at all.
If you have the feeling that your skin isn’t *that* clean after cleansing then it’s definitely worth adding this toner to your regime.
£22 for 93.15ml.

L’Occitane Lip Balm
A L’Occitane product which is often overlooked, but we love it!
If the pure shea butter is too much for you then try this – it contains shea butter, but it feels much lighter on the lips. It glides on and lips feel instantly moisturised and protected. Despite gliding on it doesn’t glide off, it isn’t sticky and you can easily apply lipstick or gloss over the top.
At £6.50 we think this is excellent value – it may seem a little pricey to some of you for a lip balm, but the results are brilliant – lip colour and texture improves no end and it’s worth chucking your 99p chapstick for!
