“i love you with the ferocity of an exploding thousand megaton nuclear bomb”. “your eyes are like deep pools I could jump naked into and save you from drowning”. “ you are my rock, my pebble, my grain of sand on the beach of life where I dream of us walking hand in hand forever”. if you think these lines are cheesy, take your shoes off after a hard day of being on your feet and you’ll then know exactly why you need this ultra cooling, refreshing, soothing and deodorising cream. some new tights or socks wouldn’t hurt either.”

This young and trendy foot cream does more than just moisturise! It has a deodorising effect, for stinky feet, a soothing moisturiser for dry cracked and flaky skin, all wrapped up in a zingy fresh mint fragrance.

It comes in a funky blue squeezable tube which is easy to handle.

I applied the cream after being in my flip flops all day and noticed that the cream sank in straight away, leaving no visible trace of dry skin on the heels or round my big toe which are my problem areas.
After applying though my soles of my feet felt quite greasy and couldn’t put my flip flops back on because I was sliding around in them!

Verdict!
Although it was too much of a greasy cream to wear before putting on shoes, it would make an ideal cream to put on in the evening after bathing.

Super value fresh and zingy foot cream!

SteamCream is a multi-purpose cream – a moisturiser for face, body and hands.

Now we’re often dubious about multi-purpose products – do they really do the job? With SteamCream it’s a big YES! We love it!

From the off, SteamCream soothes and softens skin – you’ll see an improvement instantly, skin feels smooth, soft and comforted. It absorbs quickly and easily with no stickiness and despite the indulgent ingredients (honey, lavender, cocoa butter, oats, almond oil…) the cream is light and easy to use.

After a few days using SteamCream on the body and hands, skin is replenished and looking so healthy – a little goes a long way, the quality ingredients doing their work means you won’t get through half the pot in one go!

On the face it’s the same results – younger, healthier looking skin with any redness reduced – some of us found it a little too rich for day, but as a night cream no-one faulted it.

Made in the UK, the ingredients for SteamCream are sourced locally wherever possible and the quality is noticeable in the cream. Not only that, the ingredients are natural and suitable for vegans.

The fragrance is very clean, perhaps more suited to the ladies but certainly not a no-no for the guys. Lavender, Neroli and Orange Blossom all combine beautifully.

Can it get any better?!

Yep! The cream comes in gorgeous little tins in different designs, so you can pick your mood! The tins also make it a great gift for your friends.

A rich fragranced body lotion to compliment Donna Karan’s Cashmere Mist fragrance.

The texture is thick and creamy, it absorbs well and leaves skin feeling soft and smooth. Soothes and softens skin immediately and over time it improves skin texture and hydration.

The fragrance is quite strong and lingers all day – if you don’t like too much fragrance you won’t need the perfume as well, or you may prefer to use the body lotion during the day and the fragrance for special occasions.

A hero product!

Shea butter is a fabulous ingredient, but sometimes pure shea butter is all you need. Extremely soothing, repairing and moisturising it is ideal for excema, allergy sufferers and those with sore dry skin.

We use it on sore skin; as a lip balm; as a nail and cuticle balm; on dry elbows, knees and ankles; as a manicure and pedicure treatment; in place of a hair serum… oh the list goes on! Basically, if you like natural products and treatments you’d be a fool to miss this.

It lasts ages, a large tin is a good investment if you use it daily for many uses, but a smaller tin will be ideal for travel or if you just use it as a lip balm.

L’Occitane’s Shea Butter is bought directly from a female co-operative, so you can be sure of a fairly traded, quality product.

And the packaging is fab too!

We were really impressed by this, so much so that some of us re-ordered before we finished the tube!

Light, cool and silky. It absorbs into the skin so well, it’s not sticky (though a little drying time is recommended – not long though) and skin is left so smooth and soft. Especially good on legs which stay smooth and silky-feeling all day.

The scent is ‘Soft & Sensual’ – a delicate feminine fragrance, great for layering with most floral perfumes. The scent isn’t strong, so don’t be put off if you don’t like floral fragrances. We are hoping they’ll do this in the ‘Soft & Fresh’ fragrance too!
